Goodwill Industries-Knoxville, Inc. was honored to receive the Business Excellence Award - Large Company at the Knoxville Chamber's 16th Annual Pinnacle Business Awards on 2.7.2020. Other distinguished finalists presented by 21st Mortgage Corporation were The Christman Company and Hillcrest Health Care. Winners were selected by the Knoxville Chamber Board of Directors. Criteria included demonstration of growth and stability, with regional, national and/or international recognition in their respective business sector, while demonstrating leadership within their sector. Some past winners of this award include Stowers Machinery (2019); Deroyal Industries (2018); Weigel’s Stores, Inc., (2016); and Oak Ridge National Laboratory (2011).

It was a wonderful evening celebrating all those who work so hard in our community to bring economic prosperity and growth to Knoxville. Accepting the award on behalf of Goodwill, was President & CEO, Elizabeth Nother, whom expressed much gratitude to the community for their continued support, as well as to the entire Goodwill team for their life changing work each day.

Goodwill was incredibly grateful to receive such an honor in our East Tennessee Community and we hope to continue to make our community proud, by helping people reach their full potential through community-relevant job training, work experiences, and career services and in turn, changing lives and strengthening families.
